Evelyn & Bobbie (E&B) is a tech-rooted, women-led company with a mission to re-design the bra. Built using a patented 3-D structure that moves and flexes with the body, the bras are made to uniquely fit the shape of the body with inclusive sizes and nude shades.

THE CHALLENGE

Evelyn & Bobbie needed a website and mobile app designed to launch their product, and with a fit size quiz that pairs the user with their own unique bra size.

What I did

Worked with Particle Design to support brand concept strategy, UX research, and UX design to launch Evelyn and Bobbie’s website and mobile app.

THE GAME PLAN

Designing for a brand new product

The UX challenge Evelyn & Bobbie faced was launching a brand new product online that wasn’t available in stores. Customers had difficulty visualizing the products on them while shopping online. The e-commerce site needed to give users a clear solution to their bra concerns. The site was designed to communicate Evelyn & Bobbie’s unique value: luxury, beautiful comfort, effortless support, and inclusive design.

INTERFACE

To help users quickly understand the E&B’s value, we designed the site to show users E&B’s products clearly and elegantly.

EXPERIENCE

UX testing revealed users’ frustrations with past non-inclusive online shopping experiences. The site was designed to show E&B’s values of diversity in body and size.

FEATURES

E-commerce sites are growing, but UX testing revealed there’s still a distrust that clothes bought online will fit, especially in the case of bras. We helped design a fit test that would help users quickly find their bra unique fit.

IMPACT

online shopping is moving towards personalization and customization. we were able to help evelyn and bobbie center both of these in their e-commerce site and mobile experience. the brand has gone on to be featured by refinery29, Nylon, brit+co, forbes, among others.
