Normality has Ruptured

How are we all doing? We’re on week five here in New York City quarantine, and I’m using small rituals to keep myself grounded. The smallest practices of making my bed in the morning, taking a walk around my neighborhood, and drinking water have tethered me in these moments of uncertainty. I’ve been moving through a lot of grief, as my loved ones and I gather on facetime calls and discuss our uncertainty and worries.

The questions below emerged out of a recent journal entry of mine. I believe this is a time of great unveiling, where structures are falling around us. I believe from the rubble, we can find new opportunities to build. Feel free to use the questions below as conversation starters, journal entry prompts, or points of discussion in your community. If you feel moved to do so, share with someone that you love.
